About us
Our Mission
to fulfill the calling of empowering the body of Christ through the teaching of the Word of God.
Our Core beliefs
- We believe in one God, who is eternal, and who in His mercy and love for humanity has manifested Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, James 2:19, 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 5:7).
- We believe that a Christian shall love God with all their heart, with all their soul, with all their mind, and with all their strength. This is the first and great commandment (Mark 12:28-34, Luke 10:27, Matthew 22:35-40). We also believe that those who love God follow His commandments (John 14:15, 2 John 1:6).
- We believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible as the Word of God and in the divine inspiration of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16).
- We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is God who manifested in the flesh. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin (1 Timothy 3:16, Luke 1:31, Matthew 1:18-20).
- We believe that the wages of sin is death. We also believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23).
- We believe that we cannot be justified by works alone, so that no one may boast (Galatians 3:11).
- We believe that there is a lake of fire. This is the second death. We believe that anyone whose name is not found written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15, Revelation 21:8).
- We believe in the Gospel; Jesus Christ willingly died for our sins at His crucifixion and was buried. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the grave on the third day. Now He is our living Savior. Our response to the Gospel should be to confess with our mouth Jesus as Lord, to believe in our heart that He was raised from the dead, and to repent and be baptized in the authority of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and we shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:16, John 14:16-17, Mark 16:6, Romans 5:8).
- We believe that salvation from the lake of fire can only be received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; and this is not of ourselves, it is the gift of God. We believe that there is salvation in no one else but in Jesus Christ; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved (Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 4:12).
- We believe that faith in Jesus Christ without works is dead, and that we must demonstrate our faith to God through our works in order to be saved (James 2:15-20).
- We believe that to be saved, one must: be born again, be born of water, be born of the Holy Spirit, and enter Heaven (John 3:3-5).
- We believe that it is ordained that every believer be baptized by complete submersion in water in the authority of Jesus Christ; in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:18-19, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48)
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for the believer (Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:5). This experience follows the conversion to Christ. The initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to speak in other tongues when the human spirit gives the declaration (Acts 2:4, Acts 10:46, Acts 19:6). Therefore, we do not impede the flow of tongues (1 Corinthians 14:39).
- We believe that in praise and worship we may clap with shouts of joy (Psalm 47:1). We believe that we are free to express praise to the Lord through dance, and using musical instruments (Psalm 150:3-6).
- We believe in prayer in all places (1 Timothy 2:8).
- We believe that women should have a symbol of authority over their head while praying or prophesying (1 Corinthians 11:10).
- We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:1-11). These gifts are for us today and they must be exercised only in the divine order as taught in Scripture.
- We believe in worshipping God the Father in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).
- We believe in the five main ministries of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, His church. We believe that the five main ministries will continue to operate until Christ's people come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13).
- We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to take His chosen people out of this world (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17). We also believe that Jesus Christ will come back to judge and rule this world (Revelation 19:11-16). Jesus Christ shall reign for a thousand years on this Earth (Revelation 20:2-6).
- We believe in the day of judgement in which all will come to stand before the great white throne and God to receive judgement from God (Revelations 20:11-15).
- We believe that God will make all things new again; a new heaven, a new world, and a new Jerusalem (Revelations 21: 1-2).
- We believe in a life dedicated to holiness, good habits, modest clothing and associations (2 Corinthians 7:1, 1 Timothy 2:8-9). We also believe that believers should not unite in unequal yoke with the unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14-15).
- We believe in missions and that the Church of Christ has been commissioned to preach the Gospel throughout the world to every creature (Mark 16:15). Therefore, it is our purpose to promote evangelism at home and in foreign countries.
- We believe in the local church as the Biblical method to preserve the results of evangelism for the growth and spiritual development of believers and as a basis for the propagation of the Gospel. The teachers of the New Testament teach the importance of the local church, its officers and its members; Therefore, we believe that every Christian must have a local church and be faithful in assistance, example and support (Matthew 16:18, 1 Corinthians 12:18, Hebrews 10:25).
